What is the first step?
Email or call me and we can have a short exchange to see if it feels right to make an initial appointment. I have a confidential answerphone.
If I am not able to take your call, please leave a message and I will call you back as soon as possible. Make sure you leave your number clearly and indicate when you may be available.
We will arrange a suitable time - at least 50 minutes but sometimes longer - for an initial meeting to discuss your concerns and to give us some time to think about whether we can work together. If my way of working does not feel right for you I will try and help you find a suitable alternative. Sometimes it might be necessary to meet for more than one initial session to ensure you feel happy about my approach and that I feel it would be appropriate and practical for us to work together. It is important that you take time to consider how you feel and for us both to consider if this is the right option for you.
N.B. During this pandemic I am working online only although hoping to return to face to face work when it appears safe. I am hoping that will be possible in the new year. In the meantime I am taking on new cases with caution as it is a different experience. At present my available slots are during the day and not evenings or weekends. Please bear this in mind.
